YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

It is your responsibility to obtain required travel documents based on current entry requirements. Passports need to be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the return travel date and have blank pages. An entry visa may be required. Children under 18 years of age may not be allowed to travel without the consent of both parents. Some countries and regions will not allow you to travel without certain vaccinations. There will be no refund for losses incurred as a result of failure to provide required documentation.

Some destinations may involve greater risk than others. Expedition Endangered urges you to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements and advisories issued by the United States Government prior to booking travel to international destinations. Our expeditions are adventure-oriented with daily physical activities.  You should be physically fit and in good health before undertaking one of our expeditions. You are also responsible for having the common sense and judgment to not participate in any activity that may push you beyond your physical or mental limitations.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Notification of cancellation must be made to Expedition Endangered in writing by you, the passenger traveling. If you cancel your expedition, the following cancellation charges will be made unless otherwise notified at time of booking: (i) Written notification of cancellation received between time of booking and 60 days before departure, $500 per person; (ii) Written notification of cancellation received less than 60 days before departure (or failure to join the trip): 100% of the expedition cost; (iii) These fees are in addition to any vendor fee that may be assessed, up to 100%.

We strongly advise that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your expedition including the loss of deposit through cancellation, loss of baggage and personal items, injury while traveling, trip interruption due to an emergency back home, etc.  We offer a few different policies, so ask us if you would like a quote.

PANDEMICS

Travel insurance does not cover pandemics and we follow all the guidelines put forth from the United States government.  If you have any questions regarding safe travel during a pandemic, contact us or visit www.travel.state.gov.

PRICING

All prices are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise noted. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice due to fuel surcharges, government and supplier-imposed taxes and fees, or currency fluctuation. Prices can only be guaranteed for reservations paid in full, so you may want to pay in full at the time of booking. Expedition Endangered reserves the right to make adjustments if a particular price was incorrectly stated.

ACCOMMODATIONS

If a hotel, liveaboard, lodge, or camp listed in our itinerary is not available, a similar one will be confirmed. While this does not happen often, sometimes a vendor will cancel your reservation due to refurbishments, weather, or because a large group came in and booked the entire accommodation. You will be notified of the change and a similar accommodation will be confirmed.

ANIMALS

Our expeditions are designed to give you the best chance of seeing rare and endangered species in their natural habitat. Wild animals can be unpredictable and there will be no refunds if they do not make an appearance.
